7 Components for every situation

The Moeller RF system offers you homogenous design for frames, rockers for all electrical installations with radio-controlled push-buttons, switches, sockets, data ports etc.

The main elements of any radio system are transmitters and receivers. In the Moeller RF system these are also referred to as sensors and actuators. Next there are operating elements used to realise a wide variety of control functions. Each sensor and actuator can both transmit and receive, allowing verification of information received. The mainspowered actuators can also pass on information in the routing function. The Moeller RF system offers you homogenous design for frames, rockers for all electrical installations with radio-controlled push-buttons, switches, sockets, data ports etc.

All radio components retain their assignment and configuration even in the event of power failure or battery change. When the battery in the sensor reaches the end of its service life, this is reported to the corresponding actuator (switching and dimming actuator) with the message and displayed by the actuator. For example, when the light is switched on, it flashes once. The status of all batteries can be displayed on the Home Manager and on the Room Manager. Batteries are available from Moeller, from wholesalers and from good specialist stores.

7.1 Sensors (Transmitters)

Sensors are transmitters which transmit commands, values or messages to actuators or operating elements. Most of the radio sensors are battery-operated.

These are available in on-wall or in-wall design (single or double push-buttons, motion detectors) and as remote controls. The remote control can control the functions of 6 double push-buttons or 12 single push-buttons and has a 1.5-fold range. Binary inputs are used to connect sensors without radio (wind /rain sensors, smoke detectors, window contacts etc.). Binary inputs are also used to integrate switches made by other manufacturers into the RF system. For this function, binary inputs have four modes (Mode 1 push-button mode, Mode 2 switch mode, Mode 3 mixed mode, Mode 4 rocker switch mode)

7.2 Actuators (receivers)

Actuators are receivers which receive commands, values or data messages from sensors or control elements and then carry out the desired action (switching, dimming etc.). Actuators are powered via the mains and can be adjusted so that they remember their switching status even in the event of a power failure.

A special feature of the Moeller RF actuators is that in Comfort Mode, they can pass on signals for other actuators (routing).

7.3 Operating elements

Operating elements (Home Manager, Room Manager) allow you to control and operate numerous elements which are configured to form one system in the house or apartment. However, the Home-Manager and the Room-Manager themselves have no routing function.

7.4 Accessories

A comprehensive range of accessories is available for assembly, connection, transmission and maintenance (GSM modem, USB/RS232 adapter etc.), allowing adaptation and efficient use of the radio components.

7.5 Software for planning and configuration

The software for the Moeller RF system allows easy configuration of Moeller RF systems in "Comfort Mode".
