Can I dim bulbs with an xComfort system?

Energy saving lamps can be dimmed with the dimming actuators CDAU-01/02, CDAU-01/3, CDAE-01/02 & CDAE-01/03.

Only lamps that are suitable for dimming by the phase section principle can be dimmed. The dimming behaviour is strongly influenced by the applied type, make or LED lamp. It is advised to check on the suitability/compatibility of dimmers to lights before selection to avoid a disappointing dimming behaviour.

Can I dim LED lights in a xComfort installation?

Yes, LED lamps can be dimmed with the dimming actuator CDAU-01/02, CDAU-01/03, CDAE-01/02 & CDAE-01/03. The dimming behaviour is strongly influenced by the applied type, make or LED lamp. Can someone else in my wireless setup (with) switch?

This depends on the mode of programming. BASIC mode: when the device is in the programming mode and the neighbours operate a sensor it is possible that will be able to read into the actuator. When the device is not in the programming mode it is impossible for the neighbours to turn this device. In COMFORT mode it is possible to protect every system with a password. Would the neighbours want o read their own installation and or configuration they can do nothing with your system because it is password protected. Without this password a device can not be changed or removed.

For the wireless switching system which is intended?

The wireless switching system is very well applicable in residential and small office buildings. The installation can easily handle up to 150 or 200 components. With a larger number of components this reduces the clarity of the installation in the graphic software (Moeller RF Software).

Where the wireless switch system can not be applied?

In applications:

• in which all components are mounted in metal housings and mounting outside the metal housing is NOT possible,
• where the distance between the devices is too large and there is no possibility for a device to act as a router between places,
• which prevent time-critical, safety-critical and life-threatening conditions

Where should I look for if I want to apply within the wireless switching system?

When the wireless switching system is applied inside, one should note the following points: Always look at the architectural design of the space, think of the materials of the walls and ceiling and thickness of the walls and ceiling. • Using the built-in dimmer (CDAU-01/02) / ( CDAU-01/03 ), it can be easily installed in a wall box
• With the aid of the plug adapter dimming actuator (CDAP-01/11 ), this is simply inserted into an existing outlet,

Can I dimming CFLs?
