Eaton is currently expanding its X Comfort Product Portfolio to another building block - the Ethernet Communication Interface (ECI). Users can use this single X Comfort wireless solution to connect within a building over an Ethernet network. ECI also allows the easy expansion of individual components in commercial buildings. The ECI is available in three versions: Wi-Fi, wireless LAN and PoE (Power over Ethernet). While the wireless LAN needs an additional power supply, the Poe Land requires no separate power supply, because the supply is via Ethernet.
