This device will dim most standard household lamps taking its signals from a number of wireless devices such as dimmer switches and analogue input units.

The dimming actuator receives wireless signals and switches/dims incandescent lamps and electronic transformers for low-voltage halogen lamps (DO NOT USE inductive loads!). Power supply is from the mains. The device can be mounted in branch-off boxes, standard installation boxes or directly in an intermediate ceiling. The dimming actuator is also equipped with a last-value memory this saves you  re-setting the light level everytime you switch the light on.

Control is from a standard wireless dimmer switch via the xComfort wireless mesh network.

* As a general rule, only “dimmable“ energy-saving lamps or “dimmable” LED lamps suitable for reversed phase control dimming can be dimmed. This is explicitely stated on the packaging. The dimming result may to a large extent depend on the type of lamps or LEDs used, or on the manufacturer. An insufficient dimming result in connection with energy-saving lamps is not a reason for complaint about the CDAE-01/02 dimming actuator, it will not be accepted as such and is therefore excluded from every type of warranty.
