Utilising Eatons new Hybrid Switching Technology, xComfort have introduced a new range of switching actuators in both 10A (CSAU-01/01-10) & 16A (CSAU-01/01-16) setting a new benchmark in wireless switching technology.
With a depth of only 18mm, these new flat switching actuators are easier to place behind a wall socket or built in switch. The new generation of actuators offer users the opportunity to operate more efficiently and provide cost savings to any RF installation.
Note: These new flat switching actuators replace the CSAU-01/01.

The size of the new actuators is much easier to implement inside an existing installation. The actuators will be placed easily behind existing sockets and switches
By using the new integrated metering function you will be permanently informed about the energy consumption, where the design and the period can be changed. With the help of the Smart Home Controller it is possible to display the information on mobile devices.
With the use of Eaton’s Hybrid switching technology consisting of a mechanical element with a semiconductor helps significantly lengthen the life of the device while eliminating losses associated with switching, providing the following benefits:
- Ability to control circuits in which the current flows up to 10A or 16A
- Ability to control RLC circuits (inductive, capacitive, resistive, or mixed)
- Reduced power consumption to 230mW
- Increased operating temperature range of -5 to 55 ° C
In tandem with mechanical improvements are coming innovations related to programming.
With a 230VAC Binary input allows you to interact with conventional commercially available switches for switching the lighting. Receiver with built-in measurement of electricity consumption allow for archiving and displaying measurements on your phone or tablet using the Smart Home Controller over different selected time periods. The application also calculates measurements on actual costs configured in any currency.
All version receivers have a built-in lock option allowing you to permanently or temporarily block control signals, eg. Of the motion detector to switch the lighting on a permanent basis.
The devices can be controlled from 32 different xComfort system devices and can transmit up to 32 different signals acting as a router. Built ESM (extended status messaging) allows for an expanded diagnostics status of the device:
- Information on the output device - on / off
- Information about the state of the binary input 230V - on / off
- Information about the connected load - power, electricity, energy
- Detection circuit damage (eg. A blown bulb)
CSAU receivers can be programmed in BASIC mode, both using a screwdriver, as well as the COMFORT mode using a computer to take advantage of the fullness of its functions.
